I notice everything. And by everything, I literally mean everything. I notice when someone stops hitting me up like they used to. I notice when the way someone talks to me starts changing. I notice the little things that people do, and the little things they used to do. I notice when things change, and when it’s no longer the same. I notice every single little detail. I just don’t say anything.

And I understand. I understand why people hold hands: I’d always thought it was about possessiveness, saying ‘This is mine’. But it’s about maintaining contact. It is about speaking without words. It is about I want you with me and don’t go.
Watching Studio Ghibli movies always makes me want to clean the house and cook for my family and do my schoolwork. All of the main characters are so upbeat and cheerful about doing work and it’s inspiring.
A friend of mine pointed out that Miyazaki turns chores into smth rewarding and fulfilling as opposed to a lot of western children’s movies where chores are used to punish kids. As a clean freak I relate more to his movies than anything else lmao
20 minutes into Pink Floyd and chill and we’re still only on the first song
Welcome to Pink Floyd
I am literally so baffled at the people who came in to work today. I waited on these 4 adults hand and foot, for TWO HOURS. they came in telling me about their friend who’d passed away and how this was his favorite restaurant and blah blah blah. I knew they were a little weird when their food came out and they all stopped talking and got their bibles out to read while they were eating. I didn’t think much more of it until after they paid. I went to go clean their table after they’d left, and what do I find on the table as my tip? some verses out of the bible, and readings on the true meaning of Christmas. thanks, assholes!
if you have a problem with the fact I’m complaining about not being tipped than either unfollow me or send me an ask about it so I can block you :)
This shit aint cool. In Texas I get paid $2.13 an hour plus tips so my lively hood is based on tips. How the fuck do you expect me to pay my bills in bible verses.
yo like old people give our generation so much shit for being rude and disrespectful but
in my 5 years of working at a fast food restaurant
i have never once, not ONCE, been abused or spoken rudely to for any reason by a young person.
You know who yells at me when the restaurant is busy and their order takes a little longer? When there’s a mistake with their food? Asshole middle aged people.
You know who smiles and says it’s ok? Teenagers and little kids.
My little brother and I were swimming and my dad walked out and said “it’s trash day tomorrow you know what that means” and my brother looked at me dead in the eyes and said “it’s time for you to go.”
